Creative market read
We went through your live Meta ads, your Google ads, your Amazon reviews and four bigger mānuka brands. Here's where the next ads can go, and the order we'd put them live before Black Friday.
01 · What's live today
On 22 September the Meta Ad Library showed 7 active ads for Manuka Emporium, built from these 4 pictures. All four argue what the honey is or does. Three show a hand; none shows a face or a price.

Both videos are 12-second slideshows of the same pictures. All 7 are square, none in the tall 9:16 shape Reels and Stories fill.
All 7 go to Amazon, none to manukaemporium.com. The newest went live on 6 May. On Google, the last of your 7 ads was shown on 13 April 2026.
02 · What the bigger brands do
From the live ads we read: 45 of Manukora's, 39 of Steens', about two dozen of Egmont's and about 30 of Wedderspoon's.
Manukora puts people on camera and prints the offer in the picture. It asks the price question out loud.

Egmont sells the breakfast: honey on toast, in oats, in a morning routine.

Wedderspoon shows where the honey comes from, and eats it off the spoon.

Steens hands the buyer a way to check the honey, and leads with the offer.

What they run that you don't
Counts are of the ads we read. Running tells you an ad survived, not that it won.

03 · The opening, and five ways in
Amazon reviews we could read in full talk about taking it with them: on trips, on a cruise, in a purse, on the go. It's what the snaps were made for, and it's the brief you sent us.
Your ads show the snap in a hand. None shows where it goes once it leaves the house. In the ads we read from the bigger brands, Wedderspoon talks about it most, in ads that started in September; in the copy and on-screen text of the Egmont and Steens ads we read, it doesn't come up.

“It's perfect. I always take it with me when I go on long trips.”
A buyer, on Amazon
“These are terrific for traveling.”
A buyer, on Amazon
“the convenient single doses were so easy to just throw into my purse”
A buyer, on Amazon
“I used these on a 400+ mile bike ride and they were super clutch.”

Five angles
Each comes as a still and a short video, cut for Meta and for YouTube from the same shoot. No health claims.
The ad says
“Honey that fits in a purse.”
Why: Your buyers' own words, set where a snap goes: a purse, a trip, a bike ride, a desk.
Test: Four stills and an 18-second video against your best ad today, on link clicks.
The ad says
“Yes, they're small. $1.18 a snap in the 72 box.”
Why: It answers the question people ask before they buy.
Test: Against A1 at the same budget, on add-to-carts.
The ad says
“I've just been dipping a spoon in and eating a little.”
Why: The taste your buyers describe, in an ordinary morning.
Test: Joins A1 from mid-October; the numbers say which moment carries it.
The ad says
“I'm Tony. Here's how I eat it.”
Why: A face for ads that have none. You've filmed in the office before.
Test: 18 seconds on a phone; kept if it holds attention as well as A1.
The ad says
“The limit is $35. This is $32.99.”
Why: Your award-winning packaging, at a known gift limit, for Black Friday.
Test: From about 10 November; stopped by 1 December if it trails A5.
And five we'd be nervous about

A short commercial for Manuka Emporium, in your look. Sound on.
05 · The road to Black Friday
First 10 days
A1 and A5 go live together, tall and square, pointed at your own site so the price in the ad is the price on the page.
A1A5From mid-October
A3 joins, the winner of A1 or A5 gets new versions, and A4 goes in if you're up for filming 18 seconds.
A3A4From about 10 November
A2 carries Black Friday: the jar in its award-winning packaging, at a price that fits an office gift limit.
A2Right now none of your 7 ads could; none shows a price. A2 and A5 are built to. The same shoot gives Google new video and images, so it isn't quiet in November. An account like yours can likely take 8 to 12 new creatives a month, sized to your budget.
